Actor Priyanka Chopra, who is in Mumbai for MAMI or Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image festival, in a conversation with Bhumi Penderkar revealed, that her job doesn't completely consume her, adding that there's more to her life than just that, a Pinkvilla report reads. The MAMI Mumbai Film Festival is being held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.

At the Masterclass session at the film festival, the Quantico actor said, “My job is my job, it's not my existence, it's not my designation. It is not who I am.” “Who I am, is a woman that goes home. Who I am is the person that is gonna see my mom right now... Who I am, is the person that's really missing my daughter and my husband. Who I am is that. When I go to work, it's my job." she went on to say.

Chopra, who has about 89.7 million followers on Instagram said, We're public people. It can consume you completely. You feel like agar Twitter pe aapke baare mein 1000 log bura bol rahe hain, toh aapki puri zindagi kharaab hai . (If 1000 people are criticizing you on Twitter, then you start feeling that your entire life is awful). It's not true.” She also said that social media can be a boon and a bane and that public figures can get consumed by opinions on social media.

Chopra will next be seen in Heads of State , helmed by Ilya Naishuller, starring John Cena and Idris Elba. At the event, actor Bhumi Pendekar revealed she was glad Chopra remembered meeting her after all these years. Pendekar went to school with Chopra's brother Siddharth and Priyanka was invited as a chief guest for an annual day event.
