Priscilla will be making its South Asia premiere on November 3 at the PVR Maison in Mumbai. The biopic had its world premiere at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in September 2023, where lead actress Cailee Spaeny won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress. Besides Cailee as Priscilla, the film also features Euphoria star Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley and Succession actress Dagmara Dominczyk as Priscilla's mother Ann.
In a statement, Anu Rangachar, the head of international programme at the festival shared, “In Priscilla, Sofia Coppola’s storytelling is bold in exploration and delicate in expression. Based on a self-expressed story of love, Cailee Spaeny in the titular role, shines like a diamond in this nuanced tale about teenage dreams and toxic love. We are delighted to announce Priscilla as the closing film at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.”
