The Buckingham Murders, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, is set to open the upcoming Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival on October 27, according to an announcement by the organisers on Tuesday. Following its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival last week, the film is now being selected as the opening title for the festival.
The organisers stated, "We are thrilled to announce 'The Buckingham Murders" as the opening film at Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023. The international premiere of Hansal Mehta's atmospheric thriller is an exploration of grief and our longing for closure."
